SVWC is located in Winchester, VA, one of AARP's Top 10 Retirement Cities; and is the only accredited continuing care retirement community in the area. The Lifecare contract gives our residents peace of mind as they enjoy the security of healthcare for their future.
Just over an hour from Washington, DC, our independent living apartments and cottages range from 485 sq. ft. to 2,550 sq. ft. Also on campus is our accredited health center providing four levels of care, should needs change. Features include an indoor pool, fitness center, putting green, croquet court, 2.5 miles of wooded walking trails, several dining venues, a tavern, gift shop, bank, hair salon, physical therapy dept., post office, health clinic and art gallery. With over 200 activities a week, residents can stay as busy as they choose.
