All Hands on Deck

The White House launched a six-week campaign to get more Americans boosted – including nursing home residents – so LeadingAge and the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living developed the All Hands on Deck campaign to help the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) achieve that goal.

LeadingAge’s national team is now working closely with leaders at HHS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other agencies and groups to strategize and coordinate activities that will help our mission-driven, nonprofit members keep older adults safe from COVID-19 this winter.

Vaccines and boosters are integral to the quality care our members provide residents
and the protection we need to keep our loved ones and communities healthy.

LeadingAge Lauds Policy Change to Increase Nursing Home Vaccine Access

LeadingAge is pleased the Biden Administration adopted our advocacy recommendation to take critical steps toward eliminating the barriers limiting older adults’ vaccine access. Our mission-driven, nonprofit members know what’s needed to stay healthy and limit the potential of illness from COVID-19, and LeadingAge is committed to partnerships and initiatives that help support our members.
