The White House launched a six-week campaign to get more Americans boosted – including nursing home residents – so LeadingAge and the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living developed the All Hands on Deck campaign to help the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) achieve that goal.
LeadingAge’s national team is now working closely with leaders at HHS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other agencies and groups to strategize and coordinate activities that will help our mission-driven, nonprofit members keep older adults safe from COVID-19 this winter.
