CareCommunity—built as the industry’s first truly integrated, spectrum-wide technology platform—is designed to revolutionize how LTPAC providers care for the U.S. senior population while also empowering them to successfully compete in an increasingly challenging health care environment.

Caremerge Family Engagement Now in All 54 Benchmark Senior Living Communities

CAST Business Associate Caremerge, which provides a senior living engagement platform, recently expanded its partnership with Benchmark Senior Living to include all 54 Benchmark locations. The new “Family App” personally enhances resident and family experience.
A six-month pilot preceded the system-wide roll-out of Benchmark's initiative to connect personally with families, enhance resident programming offerings, and gather data to make better, more-informed business decisions.
All 54 Benchmark communities in seven states, all in the Northeast, have implemented the Caremerge Family Engagement and Calendar Central solutions—an industry first in New England. "We wanted a technology solution that could expand our ability to enhance resident-centered services, and Caremerge does that for us," said Krystee Knapic, Corporate Director of Programs and Customer Engagement. RCare Nurse Call Receives STEP Global NY Exports Grant, Expands into Africa

CAST Business Associate RCare, a global provider of UL-1069 listed wireless nurse call and personal emergency response systems, won a grant from the State Trade & Export Promotion (STEP) Global NY Exports Grant Program. This program was designed to increase the number of New York-based small businesses that export goods globally, and to increase the value of their exports.  
The grant sent RCare to showcase their nurse call offerings at the Africa Health Exhibition in Johannesburg, South Africa, June 7-9, 2017. This healthcare exhibition is one of Africa’s largest, with over 9,000 healthcare professionals in attendance. RCare was the only nurse call technology selected for this exclusive opportunity.
Myron Kowal, CEO of RCare, says RCare’s BCube system could have a huge impact on the care of people in Africa. The BCube is a full-featured wireless nurse call system, but is designed and priced exclusively for small campuses, which is perfect for rural parts of the world with a limited budget and smaller facilities.
