LeadingAge Need to Know - 12.16.20

2020 Year in Review: Insights, Tools, and Resources

In response to the ever-changing environment at the start of the pandemic, we created a COVID-19 Resource Center with extensive resources, articles, and tools to help LeadingAge members plan for and respond to COVID-19. Whether we’re writing an article explaining a new CMS announcement or providing FAQs around the new vaccine, LeadingAge staff curating the most relevant resources for aging services providers. We also launched the Coronavirus Spotlight Podcast series featuring presentations by LeadingAge members and subject-matter experts who have been guests on our live online policy updates.

LeadingAge knows that among the best ways for members to learn is from each other. That’s why we curated Member Ideas and Inspiration, stories of the innovative solutions our members are deploying in the pandemic. And LeadingAge CAST released four new supporter case studies and updated selection tools. We also launched the interactive online Pandemic Playbook, a collection of member and partner insight, wisdom, and best practices for serving older adults during a catastrophic health crisis like the one we’re facing.

As we move into 2021, look for new materials from LeadingAge. You can visit the main coronavirus page or the new COVID vaccine page for the very latest on the pandemic. And we’re also looking beyond COVID to create new resources to help members navigate into the future--including a governance resource center, our new Summer Enrichment Internship program, and much much more!
Following are the latest news and resources.

We are sharing the very latest with members with weekday morning email updates and live online updates Mondays and Wednesdays.
