A Message From Our Board Chair

LeadingAge Board Chair, Carol Silver Elliott, offers this message to members about being ourselves again.

Moving forward requires us to step back, to remember who we are and why we do what we do… We must take a long look at what life is like for our elders. We must see ourselves in them, remembering that these are not diagnoses or room numbers. They are not children and they are not problems to be solved. These are individuals who have lived meaningful lives and now need our help and support to continue to find purpose and meaning.
