Re-Thinking Dementia: Novel Prevention Strategies to Better Models of Care

LeadingAge Bronze Partner Sodexo Seniors recently released a white paper on the emerging thought leadership around dementia prevention and care. The report is a collection of conversations with seven gerontological experts working within dementia-related fields–including LeadingAge’s own Senior Vice President of Research and Co-Director of the LeadingAge LTSS Center @UMass Boston, Robyn I. Stone, DrPH. Download the report to learn more about how diet, exercise, and other lifestyle choices can impact long-term cognitive health.

 

Home Health Prospective Payment Rule

Last week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued the calendar year (CY) 2023 Home Health Prospective Payment System (HH PPS) Rate Update proposed rule, which would update Medicare payment policies and rates for home health agencies (HHAs). LeadingAge provides this helpful summary of the proposed rule, and on July 19 at 2 p.m. ET, we will convene members of the Home Health Member Network to discuss the rule and formulate comments.
