Member Briefing: New Polling Data Shows Overwhelming Support for Investment in Older Adults
Americans strongly back greater investments in services to support older adults, finds a new LeadingAge poll of U.S. adults. We released the findings last week to boost our calls to include support for older adults in any care economy legislation that advances. Please join a briefing to learn more about the breadth of support—from Americans of all political affiliations, ages, and geographic locales—and how you can share this valuable information. Register for the webinar on July 15, 1-2 p.m. ET and read more about the poll’s findings.

LeadingAge Story Collector: Tech + Students Boost Resident Engagement
The new LeadingAge Story Collector, powered by Gold Partner Greystone, makes it easy to tell your story by making a brief audio recording or writing in your story. During the pandemic, Kendal at Oberlin had to shut down its robust volunteer program and find other ways to keep residents engaged. With help from a technology company, this member and a group of creative work/study students created a whole new type of programming that was a hit with residents and families. Read the whole story, and then use the Story Collector to tell us yours! Submissions don’t have to be perfect; LeadingAge staff will contact you to gather more details and information.

The 2021 Global Ageing Network Summit, in partnership with GAN South Korea, will bring together providers, thought leaders, and those working in the aged care sector for a two-day interactive, virtual experience.
