Most of us ended the long weekend with the realization that life as we know it has changed beyond measure, and that we are unlikely to go back to “normal”... I believe LeadingAge members came to this realization much sooner than the rest of the country. Working day and night on the front lines of this pandemic changed all of us, forever. A recent meeting with several LeadingAge board members and business partners made me realize just how deeply some of these changes will affect us moving forward.

Basic Care Aide Training: Access for Free
LeadingAge’s new Basic Care Aide Skill Competency Training Tool is a 9-hour training that will help you redeploy current staff, and train displaced workers and others new to our field. Developed by EduCare©, this new program is designed specifically for the Basic Care Aide role and provides a foundation for the skills for a variety of settings. The training tool is FREE to members and is available now on the Learning Hub.
