LeadingAge OH has created “Careers that Love You Back,” a statewide poster campaign for providers and teachers to introduce students to jobs across the range of older adult services -- from affordable housing to hospice.
The posters were created by an Ohio artist and show the range of opportunities available in our in-demand sector. Posters can be customized with your community’s logo and include a teacher’s guide. Posters also are available in digital form.
The colorful and engaging posters identify 21 jobs in the field of aging services. Focused on students in grades K-6, the program fosters early awareness and interest in our field.
The posters include questions such as “are you a person who enjoys being a leader?” for jobs in administration, along with a quick description of each job and how much schooling is required. Teachers can emphasize the employment outlook - e.g., “hot!” and the salary.
