Changes for Home Health in 2019
The calendar year (CY) 2019 Medicare home health final rule was published in the federal register on November 13, 2018. It includes payment updates for CY 2019 as well as the concept of a revised payment system for CY 2020. This article will review changes for 2019 from the final rule as well as the Review Choice Demonstration. Future analyses will delve into the changes for 2020 and the Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM).
