About Shared Learning

Unlike traditional education experiences, LeadingAge’s shared learning series are designed to be highly interactive, collaborative gatherings in which guest speakers offer new ideas/perspective and all participants contribute to the learning. The goal of shared learning is to gain, build, and exchange ideas through a process of open dialogue and collective exploration—to really wrestle in the grey areas and engage in generative conversations.

Virtual Series

LeadingAge currently offers two shared learning programs. Both consist of a series of virtual sessions where a small group of LeadingAge members deep dive into critical topics with experienced subject-matter experts and engage in peer-to-peer learning and self-reflection.

Embracing Dementia Inclusion

Embracing Dementia Inclusion is designed to help LeadingAge members take steps toward more integrated settings for people living with dementia while thoughtfully considering barriers and exploring person-directed approaches to overcoming challenges.

Committing to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

Committing to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is designed to help LeadingAge members identify scalable ways to create cultures of belonging and support the implementation of inclusive, person-centered equitable workplace practices.
