The 2018 OAM theme is Engage at Every Age. The theme emphasizes that every age is the right age to take part in activities that can enrich your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It also celebrates the many ways in which older adults make a difference in our communities.

Ways to Engage on Social Media

Each week, LeadingAge will focus on a different issue area in our OAM posts and articles. We welcome you to join us in bringing attention to these key issues:

  1. Week 1: Grassroots Advocacy
  2. Week 2: Wellness
  3. Week 3: Women’s Health (In partnership with the HHS Office on Women’s Health for NWHW)
  4. Week 4: Dementia Friendly Commuinities
  5. Week 5: Long-Term Care

Whether you’re using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram -- or all of the above -- engage your communities with OAM activities to help them take steps to engage with their health, the community, and the lives of others.
