On April 25, 2025, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) received the CY2026 Home Health Proposed Rule from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the final step in the review process before publication. In response to the rule’s receipt, LeadingAge sent a letter to the OMB and CMS regarding the future of the Medicare Home Health Benefit with specific concerns focused on the payment of services and the Expanded Home Health Value Based Purchasing Program.
