A Request for Information (RFI) was published in the Federal Register on May 14 seeking feedback on strategies to deregulate across agencies under the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

HHS is seeking feedback on regulations, guidance, paperwork requirements, and other regulatory obligations that can be repealed. Comments are due July 14, 2025. This RFI joins an RFI previously released by HHS specific to the Medicare program in April. Comments on that RFI are due June 10. LeadingAge will be submitting comments on these RFIs and previously submitted comments on May 12 on an RFI released by the Office of Management and Budget.
