Bringing the number of postponements for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) to complete the off-cycle revalidation to three, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has extended the deadline from August 1 to January 1, 2026.

This change was first noticed on July 16 through the SNF Disclosures HelpDesk in response to provider inquiries. CMS has since updated MLN Connects and is working to update the Provider Enrollment website.
