Despite the historic government shutdown that ended November 13, 2025,  the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reminds providers that quality program submission deadlines remain unchanged.

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Quality Reporting Program (QRP) data is due November 17. Data not submitted by this deadline will not be accepted and may impact providers’ Annual Payment Update.

Data to be submitted by this deadline includes assessment measures data submitted through the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and COVID vaccination data submitted through the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) for Calendar Year 2025, Quarter 2 (April 1 – June 30).

Data not submitted by the November 17 deadline will not be accepted and may impact providers’ Annual Payment Update. Providers should submit data in advance of the deadline and run applicable reports in iQIES and NHSN to ensure complete data submission.
