According to the Household Pulse Survey by the U.S. Bureau of the Census in February, 30% of household renters over the age of 65 experienced a rent increase of $100 or more over the last 12 months. The Pulse Survey also tells us that about 9% of household renters over the age of 65 are not current on rent payments to their landlords.
