On April 18, the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a hearing on two Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) nominees, both of whom were originally nominated by President Biden in 2021 but whose nominations were not advanced because of a partisan stalemate. The hearing will hear testimony from, and consider the nominations of, Solomon Jeffrey Greene to be HUD Assistant Secretary for Policy Development & Research and David Uejio to be HUD Assistant Secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity.
