As OIG continues its exploration of Medicare Advantage plan behavior, OIG staff recently shared some trends that have surfaced, such as the denial of coverage for skilled nursing facility care at higher rates for dual eligibles and long-stay nursing home residents following hospitalizations, and sought LeadingAge members’ perspective on them.
