Status Solutions Announces New Implementation, Offers Recruiting Advice
CAST Business Associate Status Solutions has announced that longtime customer Laurel Lake Retirement Community is implementing its CATIE (Communication and Access to Information Everywhere) self-service and resident engagement solution. Senior Living News reported the announcement in “Laurel Lake Retirement Community Fosters Engagement among Residents and Staff with Innovative Technology.”
One of the largest CCRCs in Northeast Ohio, Laurel Lake Retirement Community is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community that is home to more than 450 older adults and employer to 220 people, as well as a Status Solutions partner since 2011.
In addition, Status Solutions’ General Manager Danielle Myers authored a guest column in McKnight’s Long-Term Care News. “Tackling turnover: How to leverage technology” demonstrates that technology is the way to recruit the essential population of millennials.
Fifty-nine percent of millennials would reconsider a job that doesn’t utilize updated technology, Myers wrote. To attract and retain millennial talent, long-term care managers must implement technology that streamlines communications, delegates task management, ensures employee safety, and enables purposeful work to be performed. Companies that are not adapting to these advanced approaches are missing upcoming generations that can bridge the industry’s employment gap, the column said.
