CHIME Digital Health Most Wired Survey Now Open
LeadingAge CAST encourages its members to take the CHIME 2021 Digital Health Most Wired Survey, which is open for submissions until mid-June.
The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) sponsors the annual survey. CHIME states on its website that survey results are meant to improve patient safety and outcomes by driving change in the healthcare information technology (IT) industry.
Organizations that meet the highest levels of technology adoption will earn a “Most Wired” designation. See the certification level definitions. The 2021 categories are IDN, which combines acute, ambulatory, and long-term and post-acute care (LTPAC); acute; international; ambulatory; and LTPAC.
Last year, CHIME issued a national trends report drawing conclusions from the data and a digital supplement that honored top performers.
Each organization will be given a special link to the survey. To receive a link, please email mostwired@chimecentral.org with your organization name, city, and state. Please respond for all technology that was in place as of March 31, 2021.
CHIME is an executive organization serving senior healthcare IT leaders. CHIME has more than 2,900 members in 56 countries and more than 150 healthcare IT business partners and professional services firms.

See “CAST Updates EHR Selection Tool” in this month’s Tech Time for more on the LeadingAge CAST 7-Stage EHR Adoption Model. The 2021 analysis indicates that adoption of more-sophisticated EHRs is growing.

Russel Branzell, CEO of CHIME, which is a member of the LTPAC Health IT Collaborative and a partner on the Collaborative Care Summit, will be providing opening remarks on his observations of technology trends, on June 8, at 12:45 p.m. Eastern time at the summit.
LeadingAge CAST convenes the summit to address how technology is connecting the healthcare ecosystem in the era of health and payment reforms. Sessions and keynotes will address innovative care delivery and payment models enabled by technology, including the broader health IT, interoperability, and health information exchange modalities.
After a year of struggling with COVID, many providers have shared that their budgets will not allow them to attend this year’s Collaborative Care & Health IT Innovations Summit. LeadingAge is now offering free registration to all care providers across the collaborative care continuum, to enable everyone to come together, learn, share, and collaborate.
