The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) launched a Confusion Assessment Method (CAM^©) 14-minute video tutorial to assist providers with guidance application and assessment strategies for Signs and Symptoms of Delirium (C1310). The CAM is a required piece of assessments in the home health OASIS assessment and skilled nursing MDS assessment, and the video is designed to provide guidance for accurate coding using a live-action patient/resident scenario.
