The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released four new videos in the interactive video series “Quality in Focus” on the Quality, Safety & Education Portal (QSEP).

Two of the four new videos are aimed at nursing homes and address common deficiencies: Long-Term Care Infection Control and Long-Term Care Food Safety Requirements.

These 10 to15-minute videos are free and aim to enhance the quality of care for individuals enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid by addressing and reducing the deficiencies cited most during surveys.

Access these and all videos by going to QSEP and selecting the “Quality in Focus (QIF)” tab. Nursing home-specific trainings include “LTC” in the title.
