In a July 19 memo to all current and prospective Medicare Advantage (MA) and Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) organizations, dated July 19, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recognized significant changes in the bid submission process. As a result, CMS is extending the timeframe for submission of comments in the Health Plan Management System (HPMS) to August 18, 2023.

CMS requests feedback be limited to the Plan Benefit Package module and API, the bid submission module, and the bid and benefit reports. Review the memo for more details.
