LeadingAge Partner Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) is conducting its annual 2026 Home Care and 2026 Hospice  Salary & Benefits Studies and LeadingAge encourages our members to consider participating. Providers are asked to complete the study’s questionnaire by August 10th.

Last year’s Home Care Report contained data from 1,111 home health agencies and the Hospice Report had data from 1,091 hospice agencies.

The results cover salaries, bonus data, and hourly/per visit rates for over 60 positions, with job data reported by auspice type, revenue size, region, state, and CBSA. Also included are 19 fringe benefits, planned salary increases, productivity/caseload, and data on visit and shift differentials.. The results will be published in October (Home Care Report) and November 2026 (Hospice Report).

3. Email your completed questionnaire to surveys@hhcsinc.com by August 10th.  Should you need additional time to participate, simply email HCS to request an extension.

There is no cost to participate in the studies. LeadingAge member participants may purchase the results at the special and discounted price over 50% off of the standard nonparticipant rates.
