LeadingAge on June 8, 2025 submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Prospective Payment System (PPS) proposed rule.
The annual payment rule was released in April with a 60-day comment period. Our analysis of the proposed rule is here.
While LeadingAge commented on a few policy proposals, the various Requests for Information (RFIs) included in the rule were also high priority, including those RFIs pertaining to health interoperability in nursing homes.
