Remember that the MDS transition to iQIES will take place next week. The deadline to submit MDS through QIES will be April 14 at 8 p.m. ET. There will be no MDS submission after that time until 8 a.m. April 17, at which time MDS submission will begin in iQIES. Every nursing home must have at least one designated Provider Security Official in order to submit the MDS through iQIES, even if you are part of a multi-site organization or utilize a third-party vendor for MDS submission.
