LeadingAge Maryland is excited to announce our 2023 Annual Conference keynote speakers and education program. You’ll find a carefully curated lineup of experts who will help push your thinking and re-energize your teams. In addition to 40 different breakout sessions, this year, we are especially excited to bring you even more insights and practical strategies during FOUR keynote sessions:

• Gerald Sombright, Celebrity Chef, and first black man in America to earn a Michelin star, will share about his journey as a culinarian while paving new paths for people of color to be recognized for their contributions and achievements.
• Sec. Carmel Roques, Maryland’s new Secretary of Aging, will share about her vision for aging in Maryland.
• David Hutchens, best-selling author and learning designer, will share practical strategies for telling stories that drive engagement and change.
• Marvell Adams Jr, Founder and CEO of W Lawson, will speak about creating equity in aging, and how human longevity, and as such aging services, is inextricably tied to and greatly dependent upon inclusion.
