The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a new change request on Instructions To Process Services During Disenrollment From The Programs Of All-Inclusive Care For The Elderly (PACE). Members should ensure billing staff know how CMS handles payment for Medicare patients disenrolling from PACE, and the condition and value codes required to prevent claim denials.
