Representatives Debbie Dingell (D-MI) and John Moolenaar (R-MI) reintroduced a bill that would remove barriers to PACE program growth on December 5. Under this bill, PACE organizations in states that elect to allow any date enrollment would no longer be bound by the first-of-the-month requirement for participant enrollment. PACE organizations would see additional flexibility in timelines for submissions requesting to open a site or service area expansion.

Additionally, the bill allows for development of Medicare-only PACE participation by imposing some parameters around private-pay rate setting. This bill has been introduced in prior sessions.
