LeadingAge joined four other major organizations representing assisted living providers or regulatory standards developers to announce a new collaboration to develop recommendations for assisted living on June 20. The group will build a set of best practices for assisted living services. The collaborative’s first product will include a set of recommended infection prevention and control guidelines. The purpose of the work of this collaborative is to aid and educate providers, regulators, policymakers, and other stakeholders. Read the June 20 press release here.
