To promote Emergency Transfers under Violence Against Woman Act (VAWA), HUD’s Multifamily Housing Programs Chicago Office has established a Management Add-On Fee incentive. The VAWA Emergency Transfer Preference Management Add-On Fee incentive will help Owners/Agents (O/As) address the additional costs of completing VAWA-based emergency transfers with a focus on protecting the health and safety of survivors.
