On August 15, 2026 LeadingAge submitted comments to the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Request for Information (RFI) on updating their National Plan for Alzheimer’s disease. We focused our comments on the lack of funding and policy support for dementia specific care, workforce training, and widely available caregiver support programs.
