Comments on the Department of Education (DOE) proposed rule, Reimagining and Improving Student Education, published January 30, 2026 and explained here, are due Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET. This rule will impact access to federal student loans for individuals pursuing higher degrees in a number of fields relevant to the aging services sector.
