The Senate Special Committee on Aging announced it will hold a “Residents at Risk: The Strained Nursing Home Inspection System and the Need to Improve Oversight, Transparency, and Accountability” hearing on Thursday, May 18 at 9:30 a.m. ET.
Witnesses include individuals from the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General, the president of the Association of Health Facility Survey Agencies, a state Ombudsman, and a professor from a business school.
