The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently updated the survey resources available on the Nursing Homes page on cms.gov to reflect the most recent changes to the survey and certification process and subregulatory guidance. Changes were initially released in November 2024 and went into effect April 28, 2025. Nursing homes can find the memo containing updates to Long-Term Care Surveyor Guidance, Revised F-tags, the Long-Term Care Survey Process Mapping Document, and the Long-Term Care Survey Process Procedure Guide in the “Downloads” section.
