LeadingAge will be hosting a three-part advocacy webinar series designed to help leaders of color become involved in advocacy, understand the process at the state and federal levels, and examine the importance of their unique perspective in public policy and advocacy.
Session One: The ABCs of Advocacy
Leaders of color attending this webinar will learn the basics of advocacy and how it influences public policy and laws. Panelists will discuss what advocacy is, the role it can play in creating meaningful change, the impact it can have on provider organizations, and the unique perspectives that leaders of color can bring to the process. Don’t miss this opportunity to join with colleagues in the field of aging services to obtain the tools you’ll need to serve as a catalyst for change, whether you are acting as part of a group or as an individual.
