Mindi Manuel is a seasoned registered dietitian and the senior area clinical support manager at Sodexo, where she plays a pivotal role in supporting dietitians dedicated to the care of older adults. She provides training, regulatory guidance and professional support related to resident care, with expertise spanning food preparation to resident malnutrition assessment.
Manuel earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Butler University and followed it with a progressive career in corporate finance until a cancer diagnosis ignited her passion for nutrition, leading to her pursuit of a degree in nutrition.
Her professional interests lie in harnessing nutrition to treat and prevent health conditions, underpinned by her academic background with an Master of Science degree in nutrition from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She holds certifications as a dementia practitioner and is board-certified in gerontological nutrition.
