The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on May 21 released FAQs from a recent User Group Call regarding submission of risk adjustment data for PACE and Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs).

The May 1 User Group Call focused on the Use of Encounter Data in Overpayment Reruns. From the call, attendees generated multiple questions on data submission in both the Risk Adjustment Processing System (RAPS) and the Encounter Data Processing System (EDPS). The systems have separate timelines and data elements for accepting submission.
