Helping You Focus on What Matters Most
In the face of a terminal diagnosis, Providence Hospice offers caring rather than curing, preparation rather than prevention

By combining tender care with determined symptom management, Providence Hospice ministers to people's physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs as they approach the threshold to eternity.

Features Include

WHEREVER YOU ARE

Providence Hospice services are available whether you decide to live in your own home, in the home of a family member or friend, or even in a care facility. Our nurses and medical director partner with your primary physician to provide palliative care. We also recognize the ongoing pain of loss, and we offer bereavement services to family members.

WHATEVER YOU NEED

Providence Hospice also covers any durablemedical equipment you might need — wheelchair, oxygen, commode, etc. Music therapy and massage therapy help relieve pain. And all medications related to your Hospice diagnosis are covered without interrupting regular coverage of any other medications you may be taking.

AS LONG AS YOU NEED US

You may choose to revoke Hospice at any time if you no longer feel the need for our services. But as long as you need us, Providence will be there — with you and for you.

Your Providence Hospice team will include these people, and all their visits are covered under the Hospice benefit:

  • Hospice physician
  • Hospice nurse
  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Social Worker
  • Chaplain
  • Trained volunteers

Words can’t adequately express our thanks to all of you who cared for our mother over the past few months. During the days just prior to Mom’s death, we appreciated so much the care and attention Mom received from the staff and the chaplain who led us in prayer. All of you eased the pain of watching our mom slip away from us. Believe me, your thoughtfulness and skill will never be forgotten — God bless you all!
