  LeadingAge’s workgroup on internet access in affordable housing reviews the basics of the Digital Equity Act and what housing providers can do to prepare for the funding in this LeadingAge presentation. The Digital Equity Act is an internet funding opportunity enacted by Congress in 2021 that many states are in the midst of accessing to establish digital literacy skills programs, including services for older adults and low-income households. • HUD Disaster Response: LeadingAge featured guests from HUD who spearhead the agency’s disaster preparedness and response efforts on a December 2023 call for housing members.
