Yardi® Enhances EHR Care Stream App, Sponsors Changemakers Series

Yardi® has enhanced its Yardi® EHR Care Stream app, which enables point-of-care charting and related administrative tasks on mobile devices, said a recent press release. The app has been updated to help nurses and other care staff in senior living communities easily and efficiently maintain resident records.

The upgrade adds order resolution functionality to the Yardi EHR Care Stream. Previously, users had to log in to Yardi EHR to perform order resolutions before charting orders in the Yardi EHR Care Stream app. Yardi EHR is an electronic health record system fully integrated into the Yardi® Senior Living Suite.

Yardi is also sponsoring the 2021 Senior Housing News (SHN) Changemakers interview series, which spotlights exceptional leadership in senior living. SHN has announced the first group, which includes Terri Cunliffe of LeadingAge CAST Patron Covenant Living. Connect America To Acquire Philips Aging and Caregiving Business

HomeCare and PR Newswire reported that Connect America.com, LLC, will acquire the Aging and Caregiving (ACG) business from Royal Philips. Philips is an Associate Business Partner with CAST Focus.

The ACG business offers the Lifeline Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) and senior living solutions with 24/7 access to trained care specialists, and digital solutions that help caregivers stay connected and coordinate their loved ones’ needs, said the press release.

Connect America is a nationally recognized provider of connected health solutions.

North American subscribers of both Connect America and ACG will benefit from expanded service offerings and new innovations in connected care, said the release, which also reported that Philips will maintain an equity stake in the company.

Status Solutions Announces Partnership with MindWare Technologies Ltd.

Status Solutions, an Associate Business Partner with CAST Focus and situational awareness company, has announced its partnership with MindWare Technologies Ltd. in a press release on PR Newswire.

MindWare is a leading provider of hardware and software solutions for psychology research and data collection. The partnership will further support students’, seniors’, and workers’ mental health and wellbeing.

The free dual-technology package that includes MindWare’s psychological assessment technology along with Status Solutions’ communication and resource referral solutions gives customers real-time data and trends that enable them to take action.

MindWare’s software can also detect complex patterns in data which identify abnormalities in social and emotional wellbeing. Data is collected through a mood monitoring dashboard and used as a proactive form of learning, as well as to inform leaders of potential mental health complications or other situations.
