Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requests that nursing homes provide feedback in a brief survey on experiences with flu. The survey will help public health understand if nursing facilities have timely access to influenza testing and antiviral medications, and current influenza vaccination.

The survey is anonymous and collects only limited location, size, and affiliation information to help describe generally where additional resources may be needed.

Note: The survey asks about the specific influenza testing used at facilities. Antiviral medications may be used for both treatment of a nursing home resident diagnosed with influenza, as well as given to residents who may have had exposure to someone with influenza.
