The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) confirms that the Civil Money Penalty (CMP) Reinvestment Program remains on hold at this time while CMS reviews program processes. The purpose of the review is to ensure processes align with the goals in statute. It is expected to last a few more months and no new approvals or fund disbursements will occur during this time.
