In compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued new tools through the Extra Help program on June 12, which lowers prescription drug costs for low-income people with Medicare.
On January 1, 2024, nearly 300,000 eligible low-income seniors and people with disabilities will benefit even more through the expansion of the Extra Help program.
