Gail Gilman to Join Christian Church Homes as President & CEO
Gail Gilman will join Christian Church Homes, Walnut Creek, CA, on June 1 as president & CEO, succeeding Acting President & CEO Don Stump. Currently chief strategy officer at All Home, Gilman was CEO of Community Housing Partnership for a decade. Gilman has served on several housing and homelessness task forces and was appointed to California’s Homeless Coordinating and Financing Council. She also is a City & County of San Francisco Port Commissioner.
Dr. Steve Landers to Be New President and CEO at Hebrew SeniorLife
Steve Landers, M.D., MPH, will succeed Louis J. Woolf as president and CEO of Hebrew SeniorLife in July. Woolf is retiring after leading the Boston-based organization for 14 years. Landers has been president and CEO of the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Health Group since 2012. He is a practicing physician and an associate professor at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Read more at the Hebrew SeniorLife website.
Frasier CEO Tim Johnson Announces Retirement
Tim Johnson, CEO of Frasier, will retire June 30 after 12 years at the Boulder, CO, organization. He was with Covenant Retirement Communities and Presbyterian Homes prior to joining Frasier. Johnson has served on the boards of LeadingAge Illinois, LeadingAge Colorado, Presbyterian Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, and the United Methodist Association, along with other nonprofit organizations. Guided by Johnson, Frasier grew its residential population by nearly 50 percent and completed over $200 million in campus refurbishments, developments, and expansions.
UMRC-Porter Hills Foundation Adds Andreatta, Johnson to Board
Sally Andreatta and Rev. Melody Johnson have joined the UMRC (United Methodist Retirement Communities)-Porter Hills Foundation board.
Andreatta has more than 20 years of experience as a nonprofit executive, most recently as executive director of the Newaygo County Community Collaborative.
Johnson has 45 years of experience in ministry, including 21 years as senior chaplain and director of pastoral care for Brio Living Services. She is president of the Duke Divinity School Alumni Council and Duke University Board of Visitors.
John McCarthy Joins Kavod Senior Life as CFO
John McCarthy has taken over as CFO at Kavod Senior Life, Denver, CO, after several years at Golden West Communities, first as CFO as later as CEO, and previous financial and operational positions in the hotel industry.
Jenneen Hansen is New Senior Living Advisor at Crown Point Christian Village
Crown Point Christian Village, Crown Point, IN, welcomes Jenneen Hansen as a senior living advisor, supporting older adults and their families as they transition into their new homes. Hansen comes to Crown Point with 32 years of marketing experience in skilled rehabilitation, assisted living, supportive living, hospice, home health care, and pre-hospice services. She began her career as a CNA.
Susan DiMickele to Succeed Mark Ricketts as President & CEO at National Church Residences
Susan DiMickele, senior vice president of senior living and senior services at National Church Residences, will succeed Mark Ricketts as president and CEO. DiMickele will be the first woman in the role. Ricketts will retire June 30. DiMickele has been with National Church Residences for seven years, serving as its first general counsel, establishing the legal department, and leading efforts to diversify service offerings. Prior to joining National Church Residences, DiMickele was a partner with the Squire Patton Boggs law firm, where she co-led its global Labor and Employment Practice Group.
Ricketts, CEO since 2014, has led the acquisition of 2,500 affordable housing apartment units, the opening of 10 new affordable senior housing campuses. and three mid-market campuses, and launched a long-term strategic plan designed to serve 100,000 older adults by 2030.
Craig Wagoner Is New VP of Operations for National Lutheran Communities & Services
National Lutheran Communities & Services (NLCS), based in Frederick, MD, has promoted Craig Wagoner to vice president of operations. Wagoner first came to NLCS in December 2022 as executive director for an NLCS community, The Village at Rockville. Wagoner will lead NLCS operational teams in Maryland and Virginia. He has more than 20 years’ experience in not-for-profit and aging services arenas, and has led multiple CCRCs. He will continue at The Village at Rockville as interim executive director until his replacement is hired.

James Orheim is New President/CEO of LeadingAge Wisconsin
James Orheim became the new president/CEO of LeadingAge Wisconsin, succeeding the retiring John Sauer on May 1. Orheim comes to LeadingAge Wisconsin from the College of American Pathologists, where he was vice president, global marketing. “I have experienced the decisions associated with finding the best care possible for aging and cognitively disabled family members,” says Orheim. I believe the best solutions come through collaborative efforts that include providers, policymakers, patients, and their families. This role would offer me the chance to help build and enhance these partnerships, delivering the best outcomes for the people we serve.”
Molly Homan Is New Director of Strategic Communications for LeadingAge Ohio
Molly Homan comes to LeadingAge Ohio from the Ohio Nurses’ Association, where she was Director of Communications and Marketing Technology. Homan’s career has been in associations; she brings a broad generalist background, having been active in communications, marketing, and more.
