Despite the continued freeze of Care Compare and other public data, nursing home quarterly data submission deadlines are fast approaching. There has been no indication from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) or the Trump administration that data submission requirements have been waived or paused.

Payroll-based journal (PBJ) data are due February 14.

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Quality Reporting Program (QRP) data, including minimum data set (MDS) and National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) data are due February 18.

It is recommended that providers submit data ahead of these deadlines and run applicable iQIES reports to ensure that data has been submitted accurately, as no late submissions or changes after submission deadlines will be accepted.
