Markup starts Tuesday September 2 at 5 p.m. House lawmakers are proposing to fund the departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and related agencies at approximately $184 billion, several billion dollars less than the $197 billion in discretionary funding proposed in the Senate bill.
