Hospice Self-Reporting Deadline Feb. 28
Hospice providers are required to self-calculate and submit their Aggregate Cap Report for the 2022 Cap year no later than February 28, 2023. Hospices are required to file the self-determined cap each year between December 31 and February 28. Failure to file the self-determined cap report with your Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) timely may result in payment suspension. If a hospice fails to submit the form in a timely manner, a past due letter will be sent notifying the hospice that payments will be suspended.
