On August 13 at 2 p.m. ET, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will host a training on the annual budget increase process for Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly and Section 811 Supportive Housing for the Disabled Programs.

Attendees will learn how to fill out a Project Rental Assistance Contract (PRAC) calculation budget worksheet and create and review Service Coordinator budgets that are submitted to HUD annually through the Budget-Based Rent Increase (BBRI) process.

Because of inconsistencies and lack of transparency across various HUD regions in approving budget increase requests, LeadingAge advocated with HUD to host trainings for both housing professionals and HUD staff.
